Book Presentation:

I am particularly pleased to participate in the presentation of this book called "Hacer Ciudad" considering that the Academy is a framework that recognizes the quality of the architecture of its members and whose objective is "To know, to publicize and to recognize architecture", I congratulate Monterrey Chapter on this enormous effort.

The projects presented connect leading figures in the quality of their architecture from the work of Enrique Abaroa, undoubtedly one of the best landscape architects of this country, reflects in Fundidora Park and Rio Santa Lucia a recreational complex that is not only a reference in history, if not that integrates the human scale and the landscape with which a city is made.

Also Rodrigo de la Peña with the project of the Monterrey Central Bus Station made of a structure of concrete and steel that is characterized by its functionality and simplicity. The office project, Torre San Pedro, which establishes a dialogue with the residents of that area by providing a space for coexistence, research and study.
